Melksham Dent Removal

Hail Damage Repair In Melksham

Hailstones leave dozens of small dents spread across the roof, bonnet and boot. Every one is pushed back out from behind the panel, which is why the car keeps its original paint.

  • Every dent worked individually
  • No paint, no filler, no respray
  • Insurance approved techniques
What It Costs

What You'll Pay - No Hidden Costs

Hail is priced per car rather than per dent, and it is the one job where we would always rather see the vehicle in person before committing to a figure.

The count matters, but so does where the dents sit. Dents in the open middle of a roof are quick. Dents along the edge of a bonnet, up against a brace, or on a double skinned panel all take longer because access is restricted. Aluminium panels, which a lot of modern bonnets are, work harder than steel and add time again.

You get one fixed price for the car before we start, not a running total that climbs as the day goes on. If some panels are beyond paintless, they come off the quote and we tell you which ones and why.
The Repair

What To Expect

Hail is the longest job we do, and it is methodical rather than dramatic.

A lightly hit car can be a day. A badly hit one runs to several. We will give you a realistic timescale up front, along with which panels are being treated, so you can plan around being without the car.

FAQ - Hail Damage Repair

Often yes, and paintless usually costs an insurer less than a bodyshop respray, which helps. Check your excess and your policy first, then talk to us and we will work in with whatever they need.

On sound paint, the large majority can. Very sharp dents, dents that have cracked the paint, and damage right on a panel edge are the exceptions. We will identify those before starting rather than after.

No. That is the point of paintless. The factory paint stays exactly as it is, which also protects the car's history and its value.

Anywhere from a day to several depending on the count and the panels involved. You get a realistic figure when we quote, not an optimistic one.

No. Hail dents do not get worse with time on their own, so an older hail car repairs the same as a fresh one provided the paint is still sound.
